A lightweight, compact, and easy-to-use portable sonic water level meter designed for fast, accurate groundwater well level measurement. This battery-operated instrument uses sound waves to measure water levels without the need for down-hole level transmitters or traditional tape meters.

The sonic water level meter is ideal for a wide range of well conditions, including crooked wells, wells with cascading water, partially cased rock wells, wells with submersible pumps, capped or uncapped wells, and wells containing pipes or wires. It can even be used to measure the length of coiled pipe. As long as obstructions occupy no more than half of the bore diameter, measurement accuracy remains reliable. For best performance, the meter should be used in wells up to 10 inches in diameter, as accuracy may decrease in larger wells.
