Description

The Well Watch 670 provides continuously updated, on-site water level measurements in wells up to 10 inches in diameter and depths up to 7,000 feet. Using low-frequency sound waves, the sensor can measure through wells drilled at an angle, around bends, and past partial obstructions without direct contact with the water.

The sensor mounts easily in a vent hole or access port and measures water level without breaking the well seal, helping reduce the risk of contamination, corrosion, and equipment damage.

Designed for low-power operation, the Well Watch 670 can be powered by available AC/DC power or paired with a solar kit for remote, off-grid applications. Measurement intervals are user-selectable from 1 second to 60 minutes, with real-time level data displayed on the built-in LCD screen.

An internal data logger stores up to 25 million time/date-stamped records, downloadable in .txt format for viewing or graphing in the software of your choice. For remote monitoring, the sensor can also be paired with a cellular modem to view data on a private or hosted web page.

  • What is a sonic water level sensor?

A sonic water level sensor uses acoustic pulses to measure the distance to the water surface without contacting the liquid.

Can the Well Watch 670 be used with SCADA systems?

Yes, it supports 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus outputs, making it compatible with SCADA, PLCs, and telemetry systems.

    What well sizes are supported?

The system is designed for wells up to 10 inches in diameter.

    Does this sensor require maintenance?

Minimal maintenance is required since the sensor does not contact the water and is not exposed to fouling or corrosion.

Can it be used in deep wells?

Yes, the Well Watch 670 can measure depths up to approximately 7000 feet depending on conditions.

    • Eliminates sensor fouling and corrosion

    • No risk of well contamination
