Battery-Powered Remote Monitoring and Cloud Data Logging for Industrial and Environmental Sensors
The SignalFire RANGER Node is a cellular telemetry system that connects industrial and environmental sensors directly to the cloud. It accepts analog, digital, pulse, HART, Modbus, and SDI-12 sensor signals, making it suitable for remotely monitoring water level, pressure, flow, water quality, rainfall, weather conditions, tanks, pumps, and other critical assets.
Powered by an internal field-replaceable battery, solar system, or external DC source, the RANGER can operate at locations where utility power and wired communications are unavailable. Measurements are transmitted securely over LTE-M or NB-IoT cellular networks to the SignalFire Cloud or another MQTT/Sparkplug-compatible platform for visualization, trending, reporting, and alarm notifications.
Features
LTE CAT M1 connectivity optimized for low data usage
MQTT/SparkPlugB built-in for any MQTT-ready host
Integrated inputs/output for multi-sensors
Class I Division 2 Certified for hazardous locations
Data location from built-in GPS
SignalFire cloud monitoring/alarming service
Powers sensors from the battery or external DC Power
