Mini Disposable Groundwater Bailers

Mini Disposable Bailers are designed for use in smaller wells where space is a concern. They come in three-foot lengths and a variety of weight options, and are available in three styles: AquaClear PVC, FEP, and Polyethylene (HDPE). Thanks to our quality-driven manufacturing process, all our bailers are as straight as an arrow which allows them to descend the well quickly and easily.

Outside Diameter:       0.5″ or 0.75″ (12.7mm or 19.05mm)

Case Size:                      12 (FEP) or 24 (PVC or Polyethylene) Bailers

Materials

AquaClear PVC is recommended when dealing with metals and need more durability and weight than a traditional polyethylene bailer.

FEP is typically used when sampling for organics.

Polyethylene (HDPE) is also recommended when sampling groundwater for metals, and is perfect for most applications.

Check Valves

Single check groundwater bailers have only one check valve at the bottom to retain the sample during retrieval.

Double check groundwater bailers have an additional check valve at the top to eliminate sample contamination during retrieval when sampling at a specific depth (point source sampling.)

Weights

The weights are used to facilitate a more rapid sink rate to decrease overall time required to collect a groundwater sample.
